Are you seriously comparing Linux Torvalds to Guy Burgess? LT and co. work in a world where their every code commit is public, their comms are in the open and repeated via email and a lot of internet. GB had to use a telephone with a rotary pulse dial for long distance comms - 1:1. Oh and he was a British Soviet spy - lol.

LT is a Finn by birth and probably a Yank now. I'm fairly sure that LT is not a Soviet spy because he can hum the stirring parts of "Finlandia" which is a well known way to ward off any Soviet sympathies.

GB was a traitor that still invites investigation. LT is a Linux kernel developer and maintainer and has nothing to do with the other nonsense.
