Yep, that’s definitely a likely situation.
Though if baddies start using this as a matter of routine, the lazy manager who doesn’t get his team active might actually, weirdly, be doing the best thing to keep the existence of the fault secret. That really would be a crazy turn of events...
Regardless, this kind of problem has now got to be solved, and it probably involves some unusual restrictions on staff, messaging, behaviours. It’s going to be interesting..:
