I am pretty sure that is how he perceives the Chinese.
Personally, having become interested in Chinese, Japanese and Korean culture in the seventies, as a result of studying martial arts, I have a huge respect for all of the Oriental cultures and peoples.
We have more to gain by including China in World trade than by excluding it, as both a trading partner and culturally.
I find Trump's actions in most things to be despicable but his trade war with China, I think will ultimately bite him and the US in the arse.
