The Death Star was built by a strong leader who "drained the swamp" of the imperial senate.
It was guarded by a bunch of masked and unidentifiable federal stormtroopers dressed in white, who carried lots of guns but never managed to shoot straight and was destroyed by a bunch of robe wearing religious nutters from a desert flying a plane into it.
