Elon really should count his blessings. If they tried this in China he and multiple others would have been arrested before he had TIME to dare them to.
And they have a much bigger population. And (supposedly) an order of magnitude fewer deaths from COVID and are much further in reopening than our current incompetents. And (according to what the WaPo let me see in a peek) hand the US its ass almost every time they wargame. So... yeah.
