It's the companies machine, and they're very protective of it. It's encrypted to buggery and locked down like a mythical Titan. And understandably so, due to the work I do.
And yes, my own machine runs Linux, and other flavours, but only Linux gets to play on the internet.
Your suggestions will come in very handy in the not too distant future as I'm looking to build something that will run VM smoothly, as my current setup creeks and groans at the mere mention of it.
