Seventeenth (1688 was a bad year for Claverhouse).

The poster is defending the boss despite said boss's anti-company-policy tendencies. Claverhouse defended James I & VI, who lost his job to the Dutch because he was, frankly, a piss-poor king. Hence my comments.
