At last someone has outdone my Aeromexico and Indian Airlines stories.
But, you know, many people have unknowingly flown in Soviet military aircraft. The helicopters from Malta to Gozo were for years ex-Soviet MI-8. Disappointingly Wikipedia doesn't seem to know this. It's the only civil aircraft I have flown in where you could open the windows the better to take photos.
