Two years ago, 123-Reg and NamesCo decided to register millions of .uk domains for customers without asking them. They just got the renewal reminders...

Somehow my Namecheap account was NOT whois protected

- I still get about 10 spams per day to namecheap@mydomain a year after I left (and it was one of the reasons I left).
