You have codes, but that look s very weak compared to what exists in Europe. At least in France... Like sockets next to a sink. If I recall well, in France, you have a 1 meter envelop around a sink where you cannot have any socket or light fixture.

And why having ELCB fitted in the wet rooms and not for the entire house? And why having the ELCB reset on the socket itself? If it tripped, it means there is a problem. Do you want to be in the same wet room when you reset the tripped breaker?

Not to mention when a guy has to install some equipment to generate 3 phase AC for some workshop equipment, not considering that it means more expensive single phase input electricity at higher AMP, more expensive cable to accommodate that high AMP, 20% waste on conversion, etc. And the reply is: no it cannot be upgraded.
