Sometimes what we say in sarcasm contains truth.
If we were to force Joe public to use say 20 character passwords, I suspect we will see many of the form:
Password1+Password2! ie. a very simple phrase that can be remembered and easily keyed.
It is going to be interesting to see the effect the banks enhanced online transaction security protocol is going to impact online purchasing habits, at some point people will simply find going to the cash machine or writing a cheque less hassle...
