Really, have you written code and "looked under the hood" and understand how that infinite length field is actually handled?
I suggest for the average joe, getting them to use passwords longer than 8 characters is an achievement.
Also perhaps it is worth considering just what the website is storing - perhaps FoxIt are implying their service isn't for classified documents, just for your run-of-the-mill inconsequential stuff.
