Do you *really* think a totalitarian government would continue development of AI to include ethics, morality, and the *ability* to refuse to obey, once the basics are sorted? Do you think such an ability would emerge innately as an epiphenomenon of it's primary task of for instance, categorising communications metadata into clusters of likely dissenters?I think it's you that has the strange belief. ...
