My thought is that the Chinese will trade with other countries as long as it suites them. They have a massive population that they still need to educate and should be able to count on internal growth for a long time, if and when that suites them. Especially, now that they own, or more accurately in many cases have access to, the Intellectual Property of many Corporations not based in China. I'm sure the other BRIC countries and those under import/export controls by the West would be happy increase trade with China, as well as most of the African countries.
