Reliable code
I recall reading about guidance code for NASA rockets. The price of it wasn't 3 times more, it was 10 to 100 times more, depending on what kind of software you were comparing (aviation one or general-purpose).
But yes, we do put far too little emphasis on correctness of the code that is then used by millions if not billions of people.
