Wow, you described U.S. Democrats to a T. They are constantly telling non-Democrats that if they only understood the issues properly that they'd have voted Democrat. The other thing they like to say is we are voting against our own best interests, like I don't understand myself well enough to vote for my best interests. What they really mean is I voted against THEIR best interests.
