Because it is not actually AI.
What the computer is doing is looking at various clinical measurements together with the dose given, and plotting the outcome in each case; and from that, working out what the best dose is for each given set of measurements.
Potentially very useful, if the computer is able to record all the same relevant factors that a doctor considers, and it might be able to identify other factors that the doctors weren't aware of; but it isn't in any way intelligent.
