They did - it simply blocked any video with arabic script or black flags.
I foresee two possible outcomes: either the pirates will see off the AI baddies and strike a blow against online censorship, or the pirates end up as collateral damage but rising sea-levels from the resultant global warming will flood the censorship data centres. I'm hedging my bets by land-banking hill-top sites with planning permission for factories that manufacture Pirate Requisites.
