As anything Nanny doesn't like. Kettle draws more the 1.4KW? Dangerous - BAN. Halogen lights? Oh, bad for the environment, must be dangerous - BAN.
We'll soon need a note from our Mummy to buy anything. Politicians, determined to protect us from ourselves as if we were all 5 years old, and we just let them. Look at the lukewarm response to the new French speed limit laws (all single carriageway roads limited to 80km/h, 50MPH) from July 1st.
