Why use Chrome anyway?

Isn't is a data slurp engine for Google?

I use Firefox 52.8.1-ESR on my MacBook (bought secondhand btw). Search is via DDG or Startpage or via a VPN when travelling.

If I have to use Google directly then I fire up Safari.
