Selling this to management will be hard.

We have systems that won't even support SMBv2 (issue at the vendor level, not at the OS) level and I consider that an easier nut to crack. We still have many servers deployed where we turned IPv6 off to stability reasons and those servers are going to be around for years.
I *will* admit that it's a lot harder to figure out IPv6 than the old reliable four octet address but maybe I am showing my age.
