There's a whole industry full of supposed trained experts with loads of experience and education and all our information is ending up on haveibeenpwned anyways. You'll excuse me if I don't feel that people doing the application development equivalent of drawing lines between black boxes that are designed and maintained by large multinational public cloud providers could possibly do any worse.
Hell, maybe those public cloud providers will actually hire enough security people that the stuff they offer is secure by default. It would be a nice change from the shitpoaclypses created by the "I know better" or furiously cheapskate crowds.
