I think you are missing the context here.
The discussion between analyzer and myself was whether Ryzen made AMD competitive again against Intel (before Meltdown and Spectre). That, before M/S Ryzen one on some edge cases, compared to Intel and vice versa.
What you say is correct, but it has no bearing on the sub-conversation you refer to.
