Yeah, but face to face and to someone who is in a position to challenge your insult, should they wish not to ignore it, not to a kid half a world away over the internet.
It is *especially* because you're semi-anonymous behind a monitor and keyboard that you want to behave civilly, otherwise it's just giving an excuse to every government with control freakness tendencies to strip away what is left of our privacy, online and offline.
