Okay, fair point, I was a little sloppy in that. The set of orders of magnitude is countably infinite. I should have used muliples of aleph-1 instead.
The point is, it's a phase change. The deterministic model (ALL modern computing, except possibly quantum computers, and I remain to be convinced that they are truly non-deterministic) simply cannot be used to model the brain. It's like trying to apply Newton's laws of motion when you're in a relativistic frame. The model is inadequate and fails.
