That reminds me of the time Norton sent out an unsigned update and when everyone tried to report it on the Norton forum the forum blocked the messages as spam. So many people affected that it must be spam. When people saw their messages being deleted they became alarmed. Further investigation reveled Norton was connecting to a dodgy server in South Africa.
