Or as we like to call these 'legacy' apps the lifeblood of our business.

The same dismissal of the mainframe as being irrelevant legacy tech also made me laugh.

This is clearly an article written by a newbie programmer bought into the cloudy, linuxy, ARMy hype, as if every tech that went before it was made by dinosaurs.

I've got news for you - apps built on previous tech are not irrelevant just because some shiny new stuff turns up.
