What if:-
I know this is implausible (more like absurd) speculation but CTCs are feasible and my ongoing research into antigravity could unlock the key to near-unlimited computing power which would make a quantum computer look like an abacus next to a supercomputer.
The interesting thing here is that quantum systems resemble CTCs in many ways so you could model one as either in much the same way as most of modern physics.
