If possible, avoid any CMS that allows web-based or app-based editing. They're too cumbersome for their main use case - editing by non-web-developers/designers - anyway.
One option for a read-only site is to do your editing in a private Wordpress instance, scrape it with wget or a static site generator plugin, and upload the resulting html files to your public site.
If you must have comments or other interactive features, you're screwed. You will get hacked.
