It's not like remembering v6 addresses is even particularly hard. You can set most of the address to be zeros, which means you only have to remember approximately 64 bits:
2001:db8:42:1::5
which compares pretty well to v4 where you have to remember two 32-bit addresses:
203.0.113.42+192.168.1.5
Heck, the v6 address is shorter! If you think this needs to be hard then you haven't used v6 much.
