Nothing on the Internet can really be trusted since it can be pwned or MITM'd, and a highly-resourceful adversary (such as a state) can even game network flow. As for a store of random bits, anything that can be stored can be read and cheated. That's why the Linux kernel never stores its entropy pool in known areas of memory and limits it to (last I checked) 4096 bits.
