Oh get over yourself. Do you think any man anywhere has ever had a "low grade feeling of exclusion" from mainly female occupations? Do think any of them would complain if a website like mumsnet kept using the term "she" instead of "he", or that nurses in charge are called "sister" and "matron" regardless of their sex? Fact: Most people in IT are men. If you can't handle that then find another occupation.
