Jzl,

Many folk like replaceable batteries for a number of reasons:

- you have the OPTION of carrying a spare, should you need it

- the usable life of a given is dramatically extended when you have the OPTION to replace a dead/dying battery

Needless to say, the above are irrelevant on iKit and many 'droids.
