Is it just me, or is a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 on a screen that size just overkill? That's better than I have on any of my >20" desktop monitors. On a phone (albeit a large-ish one) you could have lower resolution than that and (a) it'd still look fine, (b) consume less battery power.
Feature for feature's sake / spec. sheet willy-waving?
