Magnetic charging is great!
The best magnetic charger adapter for the Xperia is the Magnector X-203 (it sticks much better than the other Chinese things). That's really nice because you don't need to open the flaps and all.
The Z3 compact is also great because it accepts 5-connector audio jack, which means you can plug high quality stereo mics (like Sony's own STM10), making it a real video camera.
I just wish Sony would let you change the battery. That's it's biggest problem.
I agree with "Anonymous Coward", Android is very limited (even with 500 apps installed to try to make up for it), and will probably feel like a toy once there's Windows 10 on phones.
