Our regional data center runs 10.2.0.5 db on OL5. We also run Oracle RDB on VMS. I've got a big pile of CSI numbers.
And yes, I'd rather try out OL7 on my home machines than CentOS.
If Red Hat had a free version for dev/test where I could enable support if I chose, I'd be more sympathetic. They don't, and I haven't used their products in many, many years.
