Talk talk talk about speed, mum's the word on addressing 5G battery life. My new 5G phone just went through 14% of its battery in 1.5 hours of standby during travel this morning o_O

I'd suggest checking for background data use.

Under current network configs, if the phone isn't transferring any data it just sits on 4G.

So battery life shouldn't be significantly different from an equivalent 4G model.
