Yep, there it is. Combine the rush to cloud with a little FOMO and a few sprinkles of doubt about whether your workers are working from home. It's the perfect recipe for a repeat of the early 2000s "Great Offshoring" that happened after the dotcom bust. These are usually 10 year contracts they get companies locked into...so it's going to be a rough patch in the 2020s for IT.
I'm still trying to figure out why there's an endless supply of companies willing to sign deals with these places. Only thing I can think of is that people have their memories wiped when a new generation of MBAs comes in and promises billions in savings.
