    So, ok - lightening strikes are beyond their control, but if the data is taken from their kit....

    an internet outage that hit the whole Bay Area, probably caused by lightning.

    I thought the Internet was designed to survive a nuclear war. If now it can goes down because of a lightning, something went wrong through all these years.
