I am not an "elite" performer, I am a friggin' god of performance. If my salary was based on my personal assessment of my performance, I'd be paid €60,000 per month.
Unfortunately, I'm not really the one determining my salary, my clients are. So, as long as they keep calling me (and paying me), I am still the god of performance.

It must be a trick question. I can't imagine a revenue generating company settling for a 15% failure rate of anything. Three or four minor failures a year is enough to make new testing, review, and change control policies suddenly appear.
Makes one wonder how No10 and Parliament manages to survive, and according to them prosper and have everything under command and control, with their catalogues of monumental serial fcukups so evident.

I'm absolutely certain they know not nearly enough, and will never ever know enough about everything including the shit their handlers may have them prattle on about in the hopes of getting their meal ticket re-elected and state benefits extended. It is though a glaring abiding universal vulnerability for more than just 0day exploitation and any resultant personal vulgar crass extreme enrichment and/or grateful systemic reward/award.

I've seen so-called "devops" implementing outfits in the 60+% power-on failure range for customer-facing system upgrades ... and happy about it. Seems the WWW is ephemeral anyway, so why bother with little things like QA/QC, as long as it's implemented quickly.
Then again, the very same "devops" implementing outfits seem to only exist to place as much investor money into the pockets of the principals as possible.
