New tech is always good. Bring on the bigger, faster and cheaper memory :-)

Any guesses how long it will be before some less advanced fab suddenly suffers a major fire or some significant outage - purely by accident * , but having the unfortunate effect of reducing supply and pushing prices up again

* As seems to have happened multiple times in recent decades

Micron is already in volume production on this "1 alpha nm" node

So they may be ahead of Samsung (where DRAM is concerned) but they are behind Micron.
