    I think Modi sees himself as the Trump of Asia, tryig to make India Great.While it may have the potential and population, India has a long way to go before it is a significant rival to China.

    Taking back control of agriculture and improving drug manufacturing standards may be more useful than denying apps that provide platforms for Indian sellers.

      You’re not showing any ability to think or read based on that comment. For one, your political estimations are laughable . For another, these actions are driven by privacy and the desire to block apps while fostering local equivalents for payment processing, B2B and B2C , all of which are growing well .

        He's perfectly capable of thinking and reading. You just don't like his conclusions, so your first reaction is to insult him.

        Modi is just another wannabee autocrat. Banning Alibaba apps does nothing to improve Indian citizens privacy that banning Google apps wouldn't achieve. But he's in a propaganda war, so logic goes out the window.
