I hope the Sysinternals tools keep being developed. At the last Ignite Mark Russinovich didn't do his usual Case of the Unexplained :( then he did an interview saying he's so busy now, he's hired someone in to maintain them for him. With Start breaking off from Explorer I wonder if this will be reflected and seen by Process Explorer?
Would be a VERY VERY VERY VERY sad day when they are no longer usable :(
ProcessHacker is an okay Process Explorer substitute.
Agreed though, the sysinternals utilities are a godsend.
It's a rare and happy day when we take something emitted by Microsoft that we're told is busted and find it works a treat.
You kinda get the feeling someone in Microsoft has got their parity bit flipped, or at least has a reversed understanding of what "working" means compared to the rest of us.
Either that or this really is an alternative reality mirror universe? If so do we have to grow a hipster goatie like Mr Spock?
The problem wasn’t so much Cortana coupling with Search, the problem was that both required you to first identify yourself and then send all your searches and comments to heaven knows where for unknown purposes by unidentifiable people.
Allowing both to work locally, without a local account, would have been fine.
