The sooner companies for sue for defamation on crap like this the better as far as I am concerned. it might raise the level of tech "journalism" out of the gutter.
The sooner you get a clue and actually understand what does and does not constitute defamation and stop throwing around words you think make you look intelligent, but obviously have no understanding of the better.

I had the Xbox 360. Never had a problem. The RROD failures were fabricated by Sony fans. And my Ford Pinto never burst to flames when rear-ended - I hear that rumor originated from GM.
I had issues with the PS3's HDCP to that point that HDMI wasn't usable on my old one with any Vizio TV. Worked fine on any other manufacturer's but not Vizio for some reason.
Magically when I bought a PS3 slim, it worked just fine. I've owned a PS4 Pro since it came out, and I've had no issues with it, but I don't doubt that there are HDMI issues with Sony products.
Got a PS4 Pro and PSVR. Not noticed any problems on the TV (pioneer 1080p) but sometimes when using the VR headset everything goes blank with an error message showing HDMI not connected-then a few seconds later fixes itself. not happened enough to bother me too much but seems there's an issue somewhere
