And you´re better off asking for cañas or jarras and getting it from the tap otherwise you're likely to get bottles which are more expensive. Although these days the trend seems to be buckets, a bucket filled with ice and five or six bottles, apparently to be shared but why spoil a good idea.

I could only ask for one, as the Register only has an icon for a single pint. Perhaps this is time to introduce several pints for a "round of beers" icon.
I've returned to parts of Spain after a couple of years away, and some of the locals would remember me as "the englishman who could speak fluent spanish". So I think they and I share your sentiments!

Y si, el Register se beneficiaria mucho de tener, por ejemplo, articulos traducidos al castellano. Muchas veces me quedo con las ganas de compartir su informacion pero el receptor encuentra la barrera del idioma.
And yes, the Register would benefit greatly of having, let's say, some posts translated to spanish. Many times I find myself unable to share its information as the receiver is stopped by the language barrier.

J'ai toutes compris la premeire fois en Espagnol. Je parle plusieurs langues et j'ai demander des autres langue pour raison d'avoir un peut d'egalité.

Lo curioso es que el libro de texto arregla el error del artículo original, que pone que la foto de Paris Hilton es porque «allá arriba hace mucho frío» (y no dice nada de la bufanda). Impresionante.
(For the benefit of the monolingual majority, the curious thing is that the textbook corrects an error in the article it's based on, which says that the photo of Paris Hilton is because "it's very cold up there", and doesn't say anything about the scarf. Impressive).
Seeing some interesting responses here and probably well worth a study.
Everybody knows that computer nerds do maths and not natural linguistics. Me thinks we are in the presence of a bunch of people on the autistic scale who are lateral thinkers.
Either that or we have some super Google translate users 'innit' <sic>.
