    I see 'BC', 'DR' ... but no much 'Backup'.

    Backup is cold. It is off-line and it is off premises.

    This is more like a HA system with *gasp* snapshots.

      I read it as being a D2D2D backup "appliance", you don't run your VM's on it, but you can virtualise a backed up PM or VM on it...

      the 3rd D being the off premises

      How woudl you have a backup system that backups up every 15 minutes and be offline ?
