    MDM is a solution looking for a problem. Anyone with half a brain who plans to leave the company will already have a USB drive full of all the important documents and emails they need, regardless of whether it's against company policy. Remotely deleting their email app is merely closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.

      I agree that this article doesn't really address the security aspect of a rogue insider. It is hideously complex to protect against insiders and like all security the higher the protection the greater the inconvenience. I think this article was just a basic primer for setting up security assuming the standard risks. People only see the data their role says they need. Outsiders should never see any of it. Protecting against a rogue insider was not in the purview of this basic treatise.
