Well, at they are good at support - my experience with a Surface that just stopped charging, whilst working fine as the battery drained away was brilliant.
First, a new charger (sent after clicking through the support website, no human necessary), didn't fix it, obviously something wrong inside the unit. Call MS, get a guy who spends time discussing, sets up a return. I then ask for a new unit immediately rather than after the return, "OK, I'll just do that... Oh, it kinda won't do it because of the other return".
So, calls me back the next day having sorted the issue and a new one is sent with a label for return. Arrives the following morning, old one dropped off at a pickup point locally. New one works and now I have two chargers.
And, the full return wouldn't have needed a human either if I had selected it in the first place.
Not the same experience as with Lenovo although Nokia were pretty good with my son's broken USB charging socket, easily could have been construed as "Physical Damage".
