So this app is the new and improved digital friend who will tell your beau/belle "My friend really likes you..." ?

"allowing the pair to get jiggy at their next available convenience. "

Should that be "...in their next available [public] convenience"?

I'll take my coat off first, shall I?

Wait until Farcebook next has to apologise that it was hacked last weekend, and "among the data the crooks may have accessed were the contents of users' Next Bang wishlists". We'll see some running for cover then, no doubt...

    Reply with friends...

What a stupid trademark "with friends" is. It's descriptive, which is the sign of a trademark that should not stand up in court.

    Anonymous because with friends.

I don't get it... When I was young and wanted to bang a casual friend I just rang her up and asked. Do kids not know how to ask for sex anymore? I bet if they put down their phones and learned to communicate they could get laid a lot more. Funny that the thing they're using to find sex also keeps them from getting sex. Dumb kids.

      Nah

It's just yet another version of the "CrushLink" thingy, except this one is sex-oriented. I'm pretty sure the blind date-match thingy predates the internet at least.

Looking at my facebook friend list,

I already know how many of them I want to get jiggy with, and how many of them feel the same way (hint: the answer to both is "1").

I assume the idea behind this app is that it shields users from rejection, but it all seems a little sad (not to mention sordid), nonetheless.

    Now with Internet !

"With Friends" is a trademark-law version of the format that seems to be using up so much patent ink: commonplace concept + THE INTERNET = magically new, patentable IP.

Some judges get it, far too many don't.
