    Is that if MS didn't bundle IE with Windows, how would people get online to download Firefox/Opera/IE?

    FTP

    I remember getting a floppy disk with an IP stack and a FTP client to download Netscape Navigator on Win95 from my dial-up ISP.

    Same way as they did before Internet explorer existed. Get a magazine cover disk or get a friend to download Firefox for you.

    You seem to forget that MS was rather late to the Internet party.
